The person i ended up giving my wristband to was somebody i already knew, but had know idea they we're so involved in the subject matter i chose to do my ac4p behavior on. the behavior i had targeted was making people on campus more aware of sexual assault and taking it seriously. After certain situations occured here on campus some people chose to ignore them, and some people wanted to make a change. The girl i gave my wrist band to is named Grace. She publicly spoke out over social media and wrote to people on the school boards and tried to make a serious change. She spoke up to people on campus and did everything she could to make people aware of what was going on and to not take it lightly. It was something I admired because as important as the subject matter was to me, I'm not sure i would have the courage to speak up and make a difference like she had. So one day on campus when we ran into eachother I told her about this class and project and gave her the wrist band. It was awesome to see how appreciative she was to receive it. The whole expierence really made me think about how I need to step up if i want things to happen and not just wait to see if someone else will do it.

AC4P Part 2 When I gave my wristband I saw something that actually touched my heart. I was at the soup kitchen with some friends helping out the less fortunate by serving food and sitting down and talking to them. There was a guy that was sitting there putting all of his food in a napkin and putting it in his back I began to ask the man if he was going to be saving that for later and he laughed and said, “no sweet heart I am taking this to a few people that were too ill to get up and come here for food today”, I decided right then to give him my wristband, that man right there is what I would consider actively caring. He was thinking about others and not himself. After I gave him the wristband he was so happy and promised he would pass it along to someone that deserved it, he thought he was just helping someone out who was in need, but he definitely touched my heart and proved that there is actively caring people out there.
