Whitney, from UT's Kobacker Center, visited our organization, the Autism Model School, & took a tour with two of our clinical management team. It's great to see an individual in our community take time out of their schedule to gain a better understanding of students with autism spectrum disorders & the evidence-based teaching strategies used at our school!

Today, Christian, from UT's Kobacker Center, came to our organization, the Autism Model School, and spent an entire day observing our staff interact with students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). It's amazing to see someone in the community reach out to gain a better understanding of these amazing students.

I gave a wristband to Shirley for going (way) above and beyond the call of duty here at the Autism Model School. Shirley brings 100% enthusiasm to the students she works everyday in addition to taking on extra responsibilities on various committees. She truly exemplifies our school's mission of creating a caring environment where every student belongs.

Thank you to our teacher Caitlin S. for stepping up & taking on additional responsibilities at the last minute. Caitlin took on these responsibilities after another teacher was unable to do so. Caitlin is not only helping our school, but also a college student as they pursue their teaching degree.
